In a deal seemed like striking gold, or, you know, copper, Gixell got scammed.
Copper serves as the backbone of our technology, and with mines drying up around the world, it’s becoming more and more of a scarce resource. It makes sense then that the buyer at Gixell, Mrs. Nanni Dafach, was thrilled at finding a great deal at nearly a 20% discount on a “massive” quantity of recycled copper. The copper seller, Simon Ea-nāṣir, was someone Gixell used before without issue; the deal seemed legit. But when the copper was finally delivered, it turned out to be nothing but copper-colored dust. Unusable for high-end consumer electronics, such as coffee machines – a flagship product for Gixell. Gixell’s head of purchasing Nanni Dafach says she’s written a complaint to Ea-nāṣir and taken legal action to return their investment. They’ve also demanded the removal of the many tons of useless copper dust now filling much of Gixell’s available storage facilities.
